I spent hours and worked to adjust them so far in so the mirror glass does not touch the glass. I would put the mirror glass low and adjust the chrome ring not to interfere with the adjustment. I had to glue twice as side ends were loose. These did not fit well! I had to cut the edge of insert to allow the mirrow to extend. The glue set, had to trim edge a few times. If they only went in so far to inside edge it would be much easyer.
