Thank you for your comment. I am sorry about the condition of the lens. My husband had no idea that it was not perfect. We have moved to Florida, and the camera equipment is in my husband's old office in White Plains, NY, so he has no opportunity to check the condition of the lenses. Thank you for your kind review!

The body of the lens and the glass itself was quite dirty, but after a good cleaning, the glass appears to be in great condition. The body however, appears to be slightly corroded in parts, with the outer coating flaking off. It would have been good if the images and the description had more clearly demonstrated the item's condition. However, given its age, and the fact that it appears mechanically sound, I can't complain. Seller took a few days to ship but packed the item very well.

Please accept my apology for not reporting the lens correctly. Our problem is that we moved to Florida from New York, but all the camera equipment is still in New York in my husband's old office, so my husband cannot not thoroughly examine it. He has not used the lens for many years. All of it has just sat in his office. He used the lens when he was young--he is now 81. Many thanks for your purchase and your good review in spite of the condition of the lens!
