The seller contacted me in a panic because he underquoted the shipping. I wrote back asking what the difference in cost would be, intending to pay the extra, and instead of communicating, he just cancelled the auction. To me, these auctions are contracts, and if he made a mistake, then he should wear it and learn from it, and at least follow through and not double-cross the buyer. Even though the ad stated to contact me before purchasing for shipments outside the EU such as Australia, he purchased anyway. After I told him that the shipping cost was too high compared to the value of the item, we decided by mutual agreement to cancel the order. He is obviously more satisfied after leaving a negative review.
