the doll is known as a dress-me doll and cost under a dollar, probably 59c they. are called duchess dolls from dimestores for crocheting. painted eyes are probably 1940's this dress is don left hand which makes ituique. I have a collection of them from my chdhood. we were poor farmers and we could afford them I could crochet ,but not left hand. thank you for the doll and information !
