      The scanner is damaged functionally, not just cosmetically damaged. The fittings are loose. It can't handle plain birthday cards like my identical scanner can - it can only do thin paper - and even then struggles to pick up print on receipts. It also has a stuck scan button on three sides - this is not as on my own newer one. It means it often gets stuck trying to do 'long scans'. The rollers are also weak, with slow feeding that often cannot cope.

      Sorry to hear that the scanner isn't performing as you had hoped. It's very difficult for us to resolve any customer issues if the first port of call is to write a negative review. In my experience a more productive approach would have been to contact us first and let us know there was an issue, so that we were able to resolve it for you. Such are buyers on ebay sometimes, unfortunately.
