The gilt lettering and art on the front cover are fairly bright. There is bumping to the top and bottom of the spine and to the corners of the boards. There is a little wear to the bottom corner of the rear board. Signature of former owner on first free page (see photo # 11) and on the page before the frontispiece (see photo # 12). There is a slight separation between pages 186 and 187 with a little bit of webbing visible from the inside (see photo # 13). The pages are still attached. Not ex-library. No other writing, underlining or highlighting. Please see photos. (Photos # 15, 16, 17 are of the upper, the leading and the lower page edges, respectively.) Sold as is.”
