Aktuelle Schlagzeilen und Berichte in Foren und Leserbriefen von verzweifelten Muttern und Vatern, die uber den Methodenirrsinn (besonders uber die Methode Lesen-durch-Schreiben) und die Rechtschreibung ihrer Kinder in der Grundschule klagen, geben einen ersten Anhaltspunkt. Die Frage nach der richtigen Methode in der Didaktik im Erstleseunterricht ist gepragt durch einen langen Methodenstreit. Ist ein Fibellehrgang im Anfangsunterricht noch zeitgemass oder gibt es bereits moderne und wissenschaftlich fundierte Alternativen? Im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit werden zuerst Leselehrmethoden beleuchtet, die Anlass des Methodenstreits waren. Die Argumente fur und gegen einen Fibellehrgang schliessen sich an. Anhand dieser Argumente, Forderungen und Studienergebnisse werde ich einen fur mich stimmigen Ansatz fur meinen spateren Anfangsunterricht im Fach Deutsch suchen und vorstellen.
