Seller notes: “Sold AF because of the general wear and tear to the shank however whereas this item may be scrapped ... “Sold AF because of the general wear and tear to the shank however whereas this item may be scrapped this one has a lovely comfortable tactile feel. As you will see from the pictures it is worn in every sense of the word, pattern to the front would have been crosses and initials. Shank is misshapen measuring approx 6 mms wide, but because of wear 'undulating' in places. Lovely natural patina in deep rose gold. Being 1918 ( enf of the first world war) may have had special meaning to the original wearer.”
