Auction is for a single paper grocery bag issued by Schwegmann Bros Giant Super Markets in 1969 and with blue and/or red printing on all four sides (except the bottom). Bag was used to store non-grocery items (old dolls) for many years; the top was rolled down. The original folds are not crisp but the bag can be collapsed using those folds. With some coaxing and patience, the bag can stand on its base, at least for a little while. (See photo # 13.) There are many other folds and much general wear. There is one long (3.5 inch) tear oriented vertically and starting at the top edge. It ends just before the image of the musicians. (See photo # 9 for closeup.) There is no writing or water damage. As originally issued, this bag has no handles. Please see all photos. Sold as is.”
