Seller notes: “This is a very rare, Original 1957 Chevrolet Dealer HEADER PANEL SIGN for the Showroom "GIANT ... “This is a very rare, Original 1957 Chevrolet Dealer HEADER PANEL SIGN for the Showroom "GIANT FEATURE ALBUM" in fair condition and measuring 8 x 36" and about 1" thick overall. This auction is for the HEADER PANEL only.This wooden, 1/8" thick blue painted sign applies to all '57 Chevy cars. It has a 1" wide stiffening board on the back which has a hole on each end for the album support rods.CONDITION of the sign is fair. It has no marks, chips, dings or breaks EXCEPT on the surface of the left side where there's a 6" area where there's some roughness and a small chip where one of the stiffening board nails broke through the surface. Some letters on the left end of the text were somehow rubbed off, but a good artist or sign painter could redo them. The missing lettering is: "NEW" plus a small chip in the "1" on the second line; the "i" in "is" on the third line; and "the" at the beginning of the fourth (bottom) line.”
