Seller notes: “This excellent George V silver ladies evening bag comes by way of maker Joseph Gloster of ... “This excellent George V silver ladies evening bag comes by way of maker Joseph Gloster of Birmingham and is dated 1915, in overall very good condition but has some dints to both front and back. Presented in typical form of the period with no decorative engraving and stylized initials of a one time owner, hung on silver chain with good sturdy o ring, the inner chambers are leather and has four compartments all in good order. The one time owner has also written her initials inside and comes with a silver medallion comerating the silver jubilee of of George V and the queen Mary of Teck by T Fattorini of Birmingham dated 1935. Measurements are approx. 10 cm in width and 8.3 cm in height, weighing in total 97 gm. Excellent silver bag from a very good maker!”
