What I do find neccicary though is to take your purchased instrument to a luthier to insatall the soundpost [do NOT try and do it without experience; I got a decently nasty pucture] and tune up your instrument. The problems I found with the design were that the craftsmanship of the bridge was a bit poor and was too high, and the pegs were not at flush with the scroll. I suggest getting a new bridge

I returned it only because it was too hard for me to navigate the more pointed end for stability. The seller sent me the one that has more of a violin shape and I'm happy with that. If I could have, I would have kept this one just for display! These are well made and the seller is wonderful to work with. Very pleased. The 3 week shipping time for this one was expected.

These have a limited sound and are tricky to play, so they are more for display, but this luthier is excellent and also wonderful to work with. Very pleased. Wish shipping wouldn't take so long but it is not the seller who controls all the annoying regulations and so on. Will rate that as it is, but it is not a reflection on the seller.
