A John Wayne for the new millennium, Hulk Hogan is absolutely lovable. His charisma makes Schwarzenegger and Sly Stalone look like bricks in the oven as SUBURBAN COMMANDO satirizes and runs circles around other blockbuster films like TERMINATOR and FIRST BLOOD. Burt Kennedy practically wrote the book on sappy and gut-wrenching Westerns (WAR WAGON, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF, ROUNDERS), only he could pull off a script like this and he does so wonderfully.
