    The stylus is of low quality and looking at the original the brass stylus shaft is shorter in length and possibly contributing to poor qualty sound.

    Nobody else has had this issue so I suspect your equipment or set up is faulty/incorrect. However, if it is the stylus at fault I will happily replace it.
