As a retied Electronic Engineer I'm always looking for the next project. Having run out of widgets to build for my stereo I saw this kit and for the price you can't go wrong. Couldn't buy all the parts for what they are asking for the complete kit. Easy to assemble but probably not a good idea for your first project. You'll need a source of 250VDC and 6V for the tube heaters. Plenty of range in the sensitivity control. Great EBAY seller - fast shipping - great price. Thanks!!
