Since more than 65% of open-hole well logs are from before 1975 and the older logging suites are the dominant ones in wells drill before 1960, this book is a must for any and all log analysts looking for missed pay in old fields. This volume was reprinted by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists but is again out of print. It's very nice to have this volume on my shelf alongside Sylvan Pirson's timeless volume on analyzing pre-1965 well logs.
