The unit didn't work... but I'm not complaining. I gambled and lost on the transaction. Just like I would have if I spent time in a salvage yard pulling one from a wreck. But at least my boots didn't get muddy in the process.
Be cautious when buying untested electronics that are over 35 years old anywhere. Only spend what you're willing to lose on parts like these as they do fail over time (hence searching for a replacement).
