As expected, I found the antenna set for around 142 MHz and 430 MHz. I took about an inch off the bottom and the bottom of the upper section. Without taking the time to go further, I was quickly able to get an SWR of 1:1.1 on about 145.9 MHz and 445.9 MHZ. I was looking for 146.52 MHz and 446 MHz. 2 of my favorite simplex channels. I am using this antenna with a backpack arrangement. I am pleased!
