The town of Deadwood is attracting undesirables including drifters, fortune seekers, and tyrants. In an authentic depiction of what life would have been like at the time, prostitutes are stuck in this dead-end town with no way of getting out. Crime, death, destruction, and ill-minded folks populate the area. With no law enforcement to speak of, the town of Deadwood becomes a free-for-all. Wild Bill Hickok is a main character in "Deadwood - The Complete First Season" and seems to run wild, instilling fear and desperation in others. This 6-disc set western includes bonus material, such as a featurette for "The Real Deadwood", a feature about the making of "Deadwood", and a two-part interview with David Milch.
