Seller said it worked but I could not get the receiver to catch any radio stations no matter what I tried. The receiver looks brand new.

I sincerely apologize that was the case with this unit. I tested it before I packed it up and it was still getting stations in the NYC area with an external antenna. Not sure why that changed for you.. I always strive to satisfy the buyers I sell to & stand behind the items I sell.
