There is no way this would hold a 1000ibs!… the 500ibs engine I have just attached to it bent the holding plate and brackets dropping the engine on a 10 degree angle! Delusional.
I’ve made it work by welding a reciprocating bracket holding up the engine up on the other side.
Dangerous and irresponsible selling something that can’t even handle half the disclosed weight limit!

For the price I will ignore the fact, that welding beads have pinpoint holes suggesting improper gas mix when welding or lax storage conditions with a visible surface corrosion marks before powder coating. Nothing serious though. It is cheap and metal is thick enough where it counts. It is also better than Rocwood engine stand that arrived with base plate 40 degrees off in respect to handle and pinholes. For a weekend warrior who will assemble few moto engines a year max. this is perfect.
