Seller notes: “The counter is in lovely aged condition showing wear to the silver plate from allowing the copper ... “The counter is in lovely aged condition showing wear to the silver plate from allowing the copper to show through commensurate with age and use over many, many years. There is just one tiny pin from the side missing but is not causing any looseness whatsoever and there are two insects with missing inlay, all the pegs to the counter are firm, tight and intact with no looseness and still work well with a good click. Apart from the two mentioned no other inlay to the insects is missing and with all showing beautiful fine colouring . The marker is a lovely weight in the hand and is supremely tactile to the touch and to handle . Measures ; ( 9.5 cm ) 3.3/4" inches long x ( 5.5cm ) 2.3/8" inches wide, not including length of pegs. The marker weighs 235 grms = 8.2ozs In beautiful antique condition with no restoration and with the many pictures showing its condition and where it can be judged on its own merit, so please do enlarge and check these out carefully .”
