The Electro-Harmonix Harmonic Octave Generator is a versatile pitch-shifting and octave-generating guitar synthesizer, equipped with a versatile foot controller that enables you to easily toggle between your favorite settings. Use the HOG to subtly change the character of your guitar, produce auto wah sounds, or even alter your guitar to sound like a B3 organ or full-fledged orchestra. This polyphonic guitar synthesizer features 10 different harmonic intervals, enabling you to drop your natural pitch by two sub-octaves, or raise it by four octaves. The pitch-shifting capabilities can be used to change your guitar's tuning on the fly or in conjunction with an expression pedal to create wild "whammy" effect's Jack White.
