I think the reason for the high cost of shipping is because the shipping company had to send it to Fayetteville, then Greenville, both towns are in NC, as well as the seller and myself. Then it was sent to NH. Why? Otherwise the package outside was a little abused, but the product is beautiful and unharmed. Hurray! I would recommend this seller again. Thank goodness they packaged it with extra paper. I am so grateful they took the time to do that. It was worth it.
