An excruciating negotiation only to find the knife def defective in such an obvious way that the seller could not possibly have been unaware of it. I informed the seller and by then was so done dealing that I just decided to keep it and deal either the defect on my own.
Nice guy, but unfortunately a bit more than slightly shady. Sad part is, he has other knives I am interested in, but I am unwilling to give him another chance to underperform.
