Perfect fit for 1985 vw golf mk2. The shift knob is good and feels okay in the hand. I say good because on hot days you can feel some "squish" in it when squeezed for firm or quick shifts. The faux leather looks great along with the pattern but I am afraid it'll hold dirt easier and won't be as easy to clean as real leather and may eventually become gummy. I've had it installed for 2 weeks now and overall I'm quite happy with it. I will update in the future if there is anything to report back.
