In order to preserve its com -mitment to open markets, Hong Kong was obligated by international agreements to accept restraints on its ex -ports; and in order to sustain its growth and development, Hong Kong had to subject its largest industry--textiles--to a massive network of restric -tions. The focus is on how Hong Kong handled, through negotiation, attempts by devel -oped economies to limit inter -national trade through protec -tive measures.

The book was just as advertised, the problem I encountered was the method of shipping. They used a shipping company I never heard of and it took much longer than expected to receive the book.
