The item arrived in good time etc. However, whilst the optic is clearly working, because an images is visible when you look through it. Once attached to the camera, all that is visible is a blob of light surrounded by darkness. Nothing seems to change this. So, the problem may be its not snug against the camera lens allowing light to flow from the sides not through the optic. Or the camera focus itself has to be changed. Not as easy as simply clipping it on the phone and voila!
