Knives are great. These are a little wider than my old steak knives and don't fit in the knife block...yet. The handles are not flat sided, they are more triangular and fit in the hand very comfortably. You do have to be careful when you set them down as they can come to rest with the sharp blade edge partially angled up. I have other Sky Light (Chinese) knives and they seem to be good quality for home kitchen use. Sky Light seems to be no longer making knives under that name. Good Value!
