The powerful demon Orochi was sealed away 1,800 years ago, and Ash Crimson is determined to obtain its power. He has absorbed the souls of two of his previous opponents, who were descendants of the clans who sealed the Orochi. He is moving towards one final victim when an invitation is received for another combat tournament. Gameplay is simple. The game's plot progresses by advancing a select team of three fighters and defeating waves of AI teams. Once the team has reached the end, Ash Crimson turns on Saiki, the host of the tournament, to stop him from stealing Orochi’s power. This becomes the final boss battle, and their fighting takes them through a portal that literally changes the flow of time.In addition to the story mode, several other modes of play are available. The "King of Fighters" arcade match that pits two teams of combatants against each other in round after round of heavy battle will test your skills. This makes PS3's "King of Fighters XIII" a great gaming experience for a group of friends and ensures the PlayStation game will have lasting appeal.
