It is PU leather so I can't comment yet but PU does break down. This is not the problem. There is very little manoeuvrability in the handle meaning it doesn't give much so I can't actually get my hand under the handle to grip it properly. It is very uncomfortable to hold. I end up carrying the item with half of my fingers instead of my palm. Not recommended under these circumstances. No problems with the seller though.
