They're just sticks, hardwood sticks. No roots, no anything just 3 sticks. No way to tell up or down on them so as to plant. Package was marked for customs as pencils to avoid agricultural inspection I imagine.

Nowhere have I mentioned that the cuttings have roots. The cuttings should be dipped in hormones and planted on a side covered with coir.
