Not shipped in solid box. Instead shipped used deconstructed boxes cardboard. Poor shipping packaging that was not structurally sound allowed purchased item to be damaged in transit. Not appropriate packaging for a fragile bamboo steamer.

The boots indeed looks new and they are of high quality, however the marks described aren't natural leather defect, they are clearly large damaged scratches. I decided to keep them as they are part of a costume, but for the price, it is disappointing that the description wasn't fully honest.
