This was a well-used pen sold as new. It’s a nice pen, and shipping was high, so I opted to keep it. Particularly after the seller got pretty nasty with me when I raised the issue. I’ll enjoy my pen, but I wouldn’t recommend this seller.

The pen is new and  the buyer knows it. I explained to him that before putting the pen on sale I polished the silver cap by hand because after years in the box it had darkened and I loaded and tested the pen to make sure it worked, operations that even a shop assistant would do pens before a sale. But the explanation wasn't enough because the buyer wanted to receive a refund of $30/40 so as not to leave me negative feedback. I objected and asked him to return the pen but he didn't want to.
