I got this to get a stable connection for a laptop I use when working in my integral garage, I have a 350 mbps service but I only got about 10 mbps & kept losing connection, now I get a steady 80+ mbps. I had to use the manual pairing method as it wouldn't work using the WPS buttons but that is probably my router's fault. As a bonus because it creates 2 extended connections (2.4 & 5.0mhz) which show in available networks I paired it to the security camera at the back of my house too.
