The package was sent Royal Mail next day delivery and never arrived. The seller refunded me two weeks after but despite tracking and requests to find out how the parcel went missing once it reached the N.Ireland sorting office or for any further details the Royal Mail offered no further information. It was very frustrating and disappointing that the package (really a letter with a coin in it) has been ‘lost’ somewhere in the local system - buyers (and sellers!) beware when using this service

Throughout this sorry episode communication with the seller was excellent and I’m distressed my negative comments on Royal Mail are interpreted by eBay as negative comments on his service. This is an excellent seller that I would happily buy from again- I’m informed too that this is the first such situation if it’s kind that has happened and the fault firmly lies with the local Royal Mail office in Northern Ireland. If they ignore requests to clarify what has happened how will they ever improve?
