The wrench is just a tad too thick to use on back nuts and the 1/2 inch end is just a hair too wide. The wrench does work for rr applications and the price is unbeatable.

Thank you for your feedback. I have made a new batch of thinner wrenches and decreased the tolerance for variation on the 1/2-inch open end, making it a tighter fit. Please note that I can't make it exactly 1/2 inch, as it would affect the wrench's operability. Look for the listing labeled "Two Railroad Signal Terminal Wrenches 1/2″ Open End and 3/8″ For Thin Back Nuts" for the updated version.
