Item as described. Don't know if it will work for my application yet. Got it to replace a 40+ yr. old GE motor. Using it on a lathe so it has a reversing drum switch. Hooked it up just like the last one and everything works like it is supposed to, but the motor starts getting hot and smoking after about 15 seconds. It works just fine (forward and reverse) if I don't use the switch and move the wires manually. Seems to be of good quality though. Shipping a little slow.
