Because of the elastic waist band, you should order according to the size you need for your legs & hips, then the waist will not be excessively too large and not need much alteration to fit, if any, or at least do the job of not allowing them to slide down when you move! JMS is a great choice, for sure, for those of us who require larger sizes and/or special needs.
