The shoes are lovely, though I was confused with the buckles. The buckles are not attached to the end of the shoe and appear to hook it. I will have to try them out and see if they don't come loose. Otherwise I will take them to a bootmaker to have the buckles fixed properly. The style is perfect, but along the side of the instep there is a blue line would have preferred this was gold or red. I am unable to upload photos to demonstrate the confusion with the buckle
