Daglish (1892-1966) was a wood engraver, writer and illustrator. His book Woodcuts of British Birds was first published in 1925. Daglish was well known for his illustrations of the natural world. Beautifully produced in hardback with lined paper and ribbon marker, this journal makes a perfect gift for bird watchers and nature lovers. It is an ideal companion to Birds: An Anthology, recently published by the Bodleian Library.
