At the end where you screw the whip into a base, the thread is a little too wide. It is not the standard 3/8 x 24 that you would expect. Disappointed to say the least, for I had plans for that whip.

Excellent for making dipoles from 20 meters and in higher frequencies. I used 1/4 PVC and a T. With minor adjustment and 3/8-16 nuts it’s the perfect dipole. Kudos.
