This station is great. The time to be ready from turning it on until reaching the target temperature is just a few seconds (5 to 8 seconds). What could be enhanced by Weller? They did not provide a means of attaching it to the bench to avoid moving the station while putting and retrieving the handle. I was already aware of that before ordering it. Since my bench has an iron cover, I just hot-glued a couple of flat rounded neodymium magnets to the bottom. That solved the issue for good.

The product itself matched the description and pictures and it was packaged very well, but it wasn’t stated anywhere that the item came from a smoking household. The entire box, camera, bag, lens, everything, smelled heavily like smoke.
