This is better than I expected. It definitely needs some work but it's a new hobby for me. I'm a retired machinist and new to split cane fly rods but I love restoring antiques. This rod needs needs refinishing and and new guides but will make an excellent rod. I'm trying to identify it. It's quite old but I think it's from a quality maker. It will be a labor of love. The case was a nice surprise. Thank you for the excellent sale.
