The $80 shipping cost was the actual label cost with nothing added, for a 12# very large carton shipping from Ohio to California. This item was shipped via USPS Ground Advantage the next day after receiving the order. It was supposed to take 4 days to deliver. According to the tracking info, It shipped from Akron Oh. to San Francisco California, then was shipped back to Akron, who then re-shipped this item back to San Francisco, which is probably the reason for the damage.
