I completely dismantled the movement to check it for wear then cleaned polished and oiled it. (It now works perfectly). I also dismantled, cleaned and polished the case finishing it off with a special wax polish to protect the antique brass finish. The case, movement, dial and glasses are faultless. It is fitted with its original brass cylinder escapement and keeps good time. It has a fitted key for winding the movement and a knurled knob for adjusting the hands. An amazing find!. It has an antique double-ended brass key.”
