Seller notes: “This is from an antique Singer models 101 from the 1920's. The parts have been totally disassembled ... “This is from an antique Singer models 101 from the 1920's. The parts have been totally disassembled and cleaned of all lint and heavy build-up to ensure smooth performance and thread feed. They were also tested in an antique 101 after being reassembled. The metal has some blemishes and spots of discoloration, but no rust. Be sure to oil this part after it is installed. To install this part, hold the balance wheel and unscrew the main screw counterclockwise with a proper sized screwdriver. Your old assembly should pop out when the hook is lined up with the needle, but sometimes needs to be pushed from underneath. Since the part is indexed you will not have to worry about readjusting your timing.”
