They have never even been opened, and have only been stored for the last 28 years or so. They belonged to my Grandmother and Grandad who loved to collect beautiful items. While all of the books are still brand new, they are not absolutely perfect due to being moved in their storage boxes a few times. Any flaws will be noted here: a few scuffs to the gold borders on the front cover, a tiny indentation in the binding crease on the front (not all that noticeable unless you hold the book a certain way in the light), and some slight scratching to the gold edges of the pages.”
