The colours in the advertisement picture for the shade appear to show vibrant colours, I purchased this as it was the same design as shades I have had for around 5 years which I purchased from a different supplier, the new shade looks very pale by comparison, also the centre metal frame which attaches to the standard lamp is very flimsy , had I been able to purchase from John Lewis again I could have made this comparison but that’s the drawback of using online shopping

I'm sorry these aren't the same as yours bought 5 years ago but things change: Voyage Maison have been taken over by 2 different companies in the past 4 years, which has resulted in changes to their fabric and printing processes. Ironically, this particular batch of fabric was from John Lewis. The frames are made by the leading UK manufacturer, used by independent lampshade makers globally and renowned for their high quality products, unlike those imported from China.
