I've tried it out and the instructions are quite clear. The question in my mind is whether one needs some strength to press down hard when making the turns. Anyway, it's a clever gadget for getting the rotary blade sharpened. It's not much of an investment of energy to get the rotary blade's sharpness back to whatever extent.
